LEARNING CENTER FOR SELF SUFFICIENT PRODUCTIVITY
The objective is to increase the self-sufficient productivity of the people who have been displaced by the armed conflict. It is a space for the promotion of education and entrepreneurship in the municipality of Mocoa. Through an agreement with the local university (ITP), 400 adults are certified in the "Diploma in Creation of Sustainable Agricultural Projects". We promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills needed by the population to contribute to the economic development of the region.
We use a methodology to evaluate, investigate and promote general knowledge of the region, strengthen sustainable practices and entrepreneurship. We have a nursery with stimulation programs for early childhood, which guarantees the participation of men and women in the training programs.
COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE EL PARAÍSO (SCHOOL) :
We built a space for community activity in the Paraíso neighborhood which is composed by a majority of displaced people. This project allows to more than 100 children in the community to have access to a decent infrastructure. It also contributes to avoiding lond distances to reach school.
The construction of a multipurpose infrastructure allows the development of school activities, community meeting and training that the population might require.
